Roar of Flames.
It’s getting late, we need to go to bed so we can be up early the next morning.
Just as we go into the last block I say “Shall we make this our last run?”, Jane agrees with me.
We killed some Koltova. We killed a Gol Dolva. We killed some Go Vahra. We killed more Koltova. We killed more Go Vahra.
The two Gol Dolva spawned. The last two fire-infected Gol Dolva we’ll see for a very long time. Our last run of an event mission.
One falls.
Monomate.
The second falls.
GULD.
From the very last Gol Dolva, in our very last Shred the Darkness mission.
Poetic.
After not finding any, or even seeing any drop, I only went and fucking bought one.
Annoyingly, they were only around 7 million Meseta a couple of weeks back, but now the 4th System is out no-one is running Roar of Flames anymore!
Supply and demand, don’t you just love it.
Yikes.
Anyway, Shred the Darkness is going well. tokkybot has gone from level 106 to 136, and I’m most pleased with my Ice Shotgun bullet, which has gone from 25 to 42, almost doubling the damage it can kick out.
Apart from finding (and subsequently synthing) a Shigga Pakuda board on day one, I’ve not had a massive amount of luck so far. No Guld for me yet. The Magashi Plan is very good for Catilium and Mot Walna… So much so that I’ve actually been able to synth all the boards that had been sitting in my PM for the past God knows how long – Most notably a 50% Ice Gudda Hon.
Next Friday we get the final mission, and the Boost Road which will increase the drop-rates even further… I may well get my Guld yet.
